The medical
care that we take for granted in the United States is not readily available
in the Northern Himalayan mountains of India. In order to better meet the
medical needs of the people of this area, Pastor Nandu has put together a
number of free medical clinics. Depending on interest and availability of
volunteers and resources, there are plans for holding another medical clinic
in October of 2008. |

The staff would ideally consist of doctors and nurses in a variety of specialty areas including general practice, pediatrics, eye and dental care. The provisions needed will include medications, vitamins, and dressing supplies. A comprehensive list of provisions for this region will be posted as the time draws near. Click here for a tentative itinerary and listing of personnel and supplies needed to-date. |
